Our garden design was established through conversations with our clients about creating interactive and welcoming spaces within the front garden, reflecting their strong connection to their local community.
The rear garden was then designed as a more private retreat – a place where they could wind down, spend time together, and enjoy the company of family and friends.
The garden has evolved into exactly that. With the help of our incredibly hands-on clients, this beautiful productive garden has taken shape over time. It now brings together dedicated areas for growing fruit and vegetables with thoughtfully segmented spaces to relax, gather and unwind after the working week. There is a wonderful sense that the garden is both productive and restorative, designed to be actively enjoyed and continually evolve with the family.
For visitors, the garden offers a journey of discovery. An abundant mix of Australian native and perennial planting creates layers of colour, texture and movement throughout the seasons, while curious pathways invite you to wander through the garden and discover a series of intimate seating spaces along the way.
Nestled amongst the layered planting are architectural concrete walls, decorative concrete pathways, water features, sweeping curved lawn areas and hidden nooks and corners. Each element has been carefully considered to create a sense of intrigue and encourage exploration, always leaving visitors curious to discover what might be waiting around the next corner.
The result is a garden that feels personal, generous and full of life – one that celebrates community at the front, connection and relaxation at the rear, and the simple pleasure of growing, gathering and spending time outdoors.
