Situated on approximately 1,969sqm “Tain” was built in 1930 by O.H Jorgensen, the house designed to take advantage of the north facing aspect on this large allotment of land.  The garden brief, was simple “Design a sustainable seasonal colourful garden” taking into account the irregular shaped block of land.

The garden is framed by existing large Pinoak, Oak and Golden Elm trees, vast expanses of lawn, reflection pond and corten steel tiered curved garden beds planted with deciduous trees, shrubs and perennials provide all year-round colour.

Grass steps lead to a pergola and outdoor dining area.  A 47,000 litre water tank is below a second lawn area.  Screening trees hide a raised vegetable garden, olive grove and utilities area.  The original pool was renovated for a more modern feel including polished concrete pool coping and paving, sauna and outdoor shower.  The garden was designed for the owners and their family to enjoy the vast garden from different aspects of the property and house for many years.
