The garden at eagle avenue was a blank canvas when we arrived.  I soon saw the opportunity to create a display garden to show clients plants in and a garden that I would eventually teach gardening and garden design to beginner gardeners in.

The plant selections combines native and Mediterranean plants some succulents and informal gravel pathways.

The design is to create a native sanctuary space for family with privacy from the street that attracts birds, neighbours and garden students.

Part of my design ideology is that the garden should be a place of meeting neighbours and sharing gardening knowledge, cuttings and seedlings.  A place for people to stop and have a conversation about plants and this can create a sense of community.
