2024: 48 Celia St Glen Iris
With a desire to have an entertaining area that was better connected to the house, and the addition of a pool, our Celia garden project transformed a tired and under used back garden into a functional, but beautiful garden that is full of textures.
The garden features an entertaining area with a cantilevered pergola and climber, that will provide dappled light through the warm seasons. Steps flow down and connect the entertaining area to the pool that features off-form concrete coping that follows the soft curves of the pool edge. Further down, is an open lawn surrounded by an evergreen hedge to provide privacy.
The front garden was also given a facelift with a focus on bringing interest in the shapes of the shrubs and various flowers and foliage textures. Existing Buxus hedging was transplanted into beautiful soft curved hedges giving visual interest to the space and allowing surrounding plants to change through the seasons.
