Phillip Johnson Landscapes has created a number of successful show gardens around the world.  Creating show gardens is about educating people and spreading our philosophy of getting connected with nature.  2013 saw Phillip’s team represent Australia at the centenary of the world’s most prestigious horticultural event –the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and take out top honours of Gold medal and Best in show.

We are renowned for our billabongs and natural pools, where you can swim in pure water that is chemical free. With our focus being in the creation of beautiful habitats that get families connected back to nature, havens where you can retreat, where wildlife can flourish and children can be inspired.

During the planting design we have a carefully considered approach to using native and indigenous plants ensuring extensive ecological benefits as well as celebrating our native flora in the urban environment.

Sustainable landscape design can be applied to any size space and can work with any budget.  From vertical gardens for apartments balconies, to low maintenance/no irrigation, native landscapes for smaller suburban blocks and large-scale rural properties, our philosophies and design principles work with each space. Creating natural habitats that are functional for the environment and for you, and to feel beautiful to be in.
