Uniquely positioned on the edge of a cliff overlooking Port Phillip Bay, Nathan Burkett’s Coastal Garden celebrates form, structure and a diversity of coastal loving plant life.

Challenged by a history of landslides in the local area, Nathan Burkett approach this design with a vision to embrace the natural contours of the site, providing an opportunity for his clients to be able to move through what was a previously inaccessible site.  One of the most challenging sites we have worked with

A sweeping timber boardwalk weaves a sculptural form throughout the garden allowing its visitors to capture several naturally framed breathtaking views of the ocean.  Plant species such as Westringia, Miscantus and Lavender provide structure amongst a plethora of silver and green.  The curved deck leads down to a viewing platform with breathtaking views of Port Phillip Bay.

Rarely is a Landscape Architect afforded the privilege to work on such a spectacular site.

This garden is a must see and won’t disappoint!
